Update

Here is a fast update.

I took the furniture back to Garden Ridge, it just wasn't the quality I want.

I didn't return the figurines for my front porch.

The coffee I bought was good.

I am still liking my coffee cup.

I will add a new thing that I like, eos lip balm.

I really like it and it as helped my lips, I use it at night before I go to bed, next time I go to the store I am going to buy one for my purse.

I bought it at Walmart.

My weekend

This weekend I bought a few things.

I will now share those things with y'all.

At Garden Ridge I bought a new patio set for my backyard, I will share a pic when I get it set up the way I want.

For now I will tell y'all about it.

It is a small round metal table with a hole in the middle for a umbrella.

I bought a chocolate brown umbrella, it is a square, not round, with a tilting feature.

I bought 2 chairs and 2 cushions for the chairs, the cushions are tan and black striped.

I also bought a base for the umbrella.

For the front yard I bought some new figurines, a caterpillar, 2 snails, frog, and a turtle.

I will take pictures of those and show y'all when I take pictures of the patio set.

At Walmart I bought a new coffee mug, the one I was using here at work did not keep my coffee warm long enough.

It is called a desktop coffee mug.

I used it today and it keeps my coffee warm, I'm happy.

I also bought some new coffee that I am going to try on my break, I will post tomorrow if I like it.

It is called Nescafe Cappuccino, it is in packets,

What's up?

Not much, I went to Italy.

Still haven't gotten around to transferring the photos from my camera to the computer.

We have been walking Kane and Cloe every night this week.

He is getting better, he was wild and crazy, but now he knows he is going and has calmed down.

It is raining here.

I am going to make rice crispy treats this weekend, I have never made them before.

I don't think anyone ever reads this, but that's OK, I'm still here.

Weekend

This weekend my throat was still hurting, I think it was the Wet N Wild lip gloss.

I swallowed a few spoonfuls of honey on Saturday, my throat is feeling better.

I like the L'OREAL lip gloss and I bought it in another color, Mauve.

Today I bought D.R.U.G.S concert tickets.

Oh and I told the bitch off in the office next to mine Friday, she is kissing my ass today.

Lip Gloss

I bought some new make-up at Walmart last night.

I bought a few eye shadows and a few different brands of lip gloss.

One brand I bought was Wet N Wild.

I'm not sure what was up with that lip gloss, I put it on and some of it went in my mouth when I rubbed my lips together and my throat started burning!

So I don't think I will be using that one again.

The one that I used today is L'OREAL infallible 8 hr lip gloss, it has lasted all day.

I usually wear pink but I decided to try red, so I did and I think it looks good on me.

The color I bought is Glistening Berry, it looks kinda pink on their site, but it looks red on me.

This is the lip gloss and color, see it looks more red in this photo.

New Plan

I tried the green monster smoothies, I think they almost killed me.

They sound healthy, but I think my body rejects healthy.

So back to my morning coffee and snack.

Today maybe a chocolate rice cake, or maybe a Special K cereal bar.

I would also like to talk about the bitch in the office next to me.

She is on my damn nerves.

Green Monster

I have started drinking green monster smoothies.

It is a spinach smoothie.

I am hoping it will give me more energy.

The recipe I have been using is

1 cup of vanilla almond milk

Greek yogurt 1 small container- about 1/2 cup

frozen banana- peeled and sliced before freezing

3 to 4 cups of spinach

small spoonful of natural peanut butter

I am going to change it up some, I think I am going to leave out the peanut butter or the yogurt next time.

I'm trying to save on calories, but I think I may need at least one of them for protein.

I will keep trying out recipes and post what I think of them here.

I have been doing some reading about it, this is some of it.

Weight Loss Benefits

Putting green vegetables in smoothies aids weight maintenance and weight loss for several reasons. First, those fiber-rich vegetables can enhance feelings of fullness and make such feelings last longer than foods with other nutrients can. That may curb your total calorie consumption and help you build up a larger calorie deficit. For every 3,500 calories you manage to save, you'll lose 1 lb. Cut calories when you use a green smoothie as a meal replacement, especially if it drink it as a substitute for the meal that is normally your largest.

Health Benefits

Green smoothies also have nutritional benefits that go beyond helping you lose weight. You may not think that sneaking veggies into a smoothie makes a big difference, but ChooseMyPlate.gov reports that eating more servings of vegetables every day can help you decrease your risk of cancer, bone loss, diabetes, stroke, heart attack and kidney stones. Smoothies made with natural ingredients will also provide you with essential nutrients that you might miss out on at normal meals.

Recipe

Adding a cup of raw, fresh spinach leaves to any smoothie won't alter the taste or texture dramatically, but it will add a splash of color and a boost of fiber, vitamins and minerals. Try blending a handful of crushed ice with the spinach, one small banana, 1/2 cup of fresh or frozen sliced strawberries, 1/2 cup of nonfat plain yogurt and 1/2 cup of skim milk. The drink has about 250 calories, 13.5 g protein, 1 g fat and 5 g fiber. Once you get used to the spinach, try increasing the amount or adding some broccoli, kale, zucchini or green bell pepper
