Betrayal

Well my car is done, at least the stuff at the dealership. I will post pics another day.

I'm not in a good mood today, I heard some people at work talking shit about me.

I have had it with backstabbers and liars.

My Day So Far

The special stuff they are doing to my car should have taken 1 day, they have had my car 3 days.

The salesman Ron has avoided my text and calls all day, I have had to take off of work and drive down there to talk to him.

On the way there my daughter calls me to tell me they only had a half day of school and she want to know if she can order pizzas because there is a party going on at my house!

Ron tells me my car will be ready by 5 today, it better be!!!!

My Mom has been gripping at me all day! If y'all don't know we work together.

I picked up the plates for my car.

My son calls and wants a ride to school at 3:30, I tell him it is 3:15 and I'm still at work, no I can't give you a ride!

I have about had it!

Tonight is Homecoming at the school, it is going to be crowded, and all I want to do is go home!

I'll let y'all know if the car is ready or if I have a complete breakdown.

Btw, I typed all this out and then clicked the wrong button and clicked it off!!! I had to retype everything!

My New Car

I bought a new car about a week ago, just getting around to posting it here.

It is at the dealership getting somethings done to it right now, I'll post what they did later.

It is a Dodge Charger R/T Plus.

Today I'm driving a Challenger, I made sure it was a V8.

My kids like the Charger better, they say because it is bigger, has a touch screen radio, leather heated seats front and back, back up camera, heated and cooled cup holders, and a lot more extras.

A Peek Into My Morning

Co worker: Did you make the coffee?

Me: Yes.

Co worker: I'll pass.

Me: But I only put 5 scoops in it today.

Co worker: If I drink that I'll be shaking all day.

Me: You can water it down.

Co worker: No, it's just to strong.

Me: But it is my one cup wake you up coffee.

Co worker: This from someone who thought I was trying to kill them with Aleve D and Zyrtec.

Me: You were trying to kill me, that is why I take Allegra now.

Co worker: I don't like Allegra.

Me: Why not?

Co worker: Because you can't take it with orange juice.

Me: I drink coffee in the mornings, not orange juice....maybe that's why I get sick so much.

Co worker: Maybe, I'll see you later.

Me: OK, later

Hello September - Hello SAMCRO

It is finally cooler outside! I'm going to try and take Cloe and Kane for a walk tonight.

Tonight is the season premiere of Sons of Anarchy, I had to buy last season and catch up because last year the channel they are on was pulled from Dish and I missed most of it, we have the channel back now. It took me all weekend but I have caught back up and am ready for tonight!

Good bye August, hello cooler temperatures! Hello riding my motorcycle, walking dogs, and watching High School football games and marching band without sweating my ass off!!!!

Last - First Game

My son is a senior in high school and tonight he will be marching in his last- first football game of the year. It makes me sad, I will miss these times. The marching theme this year is Lord Of The Rings. This makes him very happy, he loves Lord Of The Rings. I'm happy that he is happy, and hope he has the best year ever!

Did You Say Granny Shirt?

Have you ever had a day that you thought you looked cute, your outfit look good on you and fit like it was suppose to, your hair was doing what it was suppose to, well pretty much. Then someone comes along and says something to make think it wasn't true???

Well that happen to me today, I was thinking I was looking all cute and then a coworker says "Why are you wearing a granny shirt?" I am NOT wearing a granny shirt! Anyway, what does he know, I still think I am looking cute, and I don't think that everyday so I am going with it.

P.S. If any Granny's are wearing this shirt they look awesome in it! :)

Ready For Fall

I'm ready for fall, I look way better in my Fall clothes than my Summer clothes. Jeans and long sleeve shirts and jackets cover the parts of me that I don't like nicely and creates a wonderful  illusion. It is way to hot here. I'm just worried we won't have a Fall, sometimes in Texas it goes from feeling like Hell to Freezing Hell with nothing in the middle. I'm looking forward to opening my windows and feeling a crisp breeze, sleeping next to my 105 pound Pit Bull Kane and not wake up sweating. Although in the winter he is a blanket hog. I'm also looking forward to riding my Harley and not have a sweaty ass when I get off my bike, but that could be TMI.

Coffee Cake and Fried Green Tomatoes

Not much going on today, it is hot outside. Still thinking about doing the paintstick project. My husband thinks it is crazy, I guess he can't see how it would be fun to make them, but I didn't ask him to make them, it is something I might want to do. I bought some cinnamon apple mini coffee cakes at Kroger, they are the size of mini cup cakes, I just ate one and they are good! So if you see them at Kroger give them a try, they come in different flavors. I also bought some green tomatoes, I'm going to try and fry them this week. I have never ate fried green tomatoes but they look good so I thought I would give it a try. I'll let y'all know how that turns out.

I'm Feeling Crafty

I haven't been around in awhile, just want to pop in and say hi! Not to much going on, it is HOT here! I think I want to start crafting, but what? My cyber friend Peg posted about paintstick ornaments and that has got me thinking, I might want to make them. I might want to make lots of stuff, I just need to research and figure out what craft is best for me.

Spiced Beef

I bought a cook book at Half Price Books last week, it is called Easy Cooking with 5 Ingredients. I made a recipe from it last night called Spiced Beef. It was different but in a good way. I think this would also be good served with corn bread.

Spiced Beef

Ingredients

1 pound lean ground beef

1 can Mexican stewed tomatoes 16 ounce with liquid

1 can kidney beans 16 ounce with liquid

1 bag egg noodles

Directions

1. cook beef in skillet and drain. add taco seasoning and 1/2 cup water. simmer 15 minutes.

2. add stewed tomatoes and kidney beans.

3. cook egg noddles according to package directions. Serve spiced beef over noodles.

Twister

We had some scary storms here yesterday, it didn't help that I watched the tornado episode of Roseanne that day either. It's weird that last time we had bad storm my daughter and I watched Twister. Maybe I shouldn't watch these types of shows on days we have bad weather. I was also baking chicken in the oven while the storm was over us. Ever time the power would go off and then back on I would run to check on the oven to make sure it came back on. I check the temperature on the chicken to make sure it was done. When the sirens first went off I ran outside! I looked around and all of my neighbors were outside too. It looked scary out there! Then I really began to worry, so I went back in and put a blanket in the tub just in case we had to get in there, I also put my purse in it with my inhaler and Jeep keys. Then I got the hamsters and put them in the pantry/laundry room, it is in the middle of the house with no windows. I sat them on the washer. My husband looked at me crazy as I was rushing through the house with the hamster cage, he said what are you doing? I said saving the hamsters!!!! We had a lot of rotation and some hail. The sirens went off for about 30 minutes, that was strange. My husband stayed outside during the storm watching the clouds. At one point my husband and son were both out there and I went out there and they told me " go inside we got this".So I went inside, when I would go outside and see the rotation I would panic, so I was better off inside watching the weather. One of my neighbors had a whole bunch of shingles ripped off one side of his house, and my cousin who lives on the other side of town from me heard the train noise and it shook his house. I am glad that we cleaned the garage out a few months ago and we can now fit both of out vehicles in there, we have a 3 car garage so in the last bay we have the mower and other lawn care stuff, a refrigerator, freezer and our motorcycles and gear. I'm glad we made it through ok and the hamsters slept in the pantry. I put them back this morning. Also the chicken I made was very good, I bought a cookbook that uses only five ingredients at Half Price Books. The next time I make it I will share it with y'all.

Tuna - It's What's For Luch

I didn't bring anything for lunch today so I looked around and this is what I came up with.

Tuna, and this is what I did with it...

Opened a can of tuna drained it, added sliced banana peppers I chopped them up to make them smaller, relish, a little Miracle Whip, and a few squirts of Wish-Bone Salad Spritzers Balsamic Breeze Vinaigrette Dressing.

A dash of salt and pepper and eating it on crackers.
It taste really good!

Wake Up And Smell The Coffee

I'm thinking of buying a coffeemaker with a timer, I would like to wake up and smell the coffee. I have a Keurig, but I think I want it ready when I wake up. I think Walmart has a Mr.Coffee with timer for $29. so I will check that out. My husband told me it is to hot for coffee outside now, but it's cold in the house so I want coffee. I didn't have my coffee this morning so I'm still tired. I didn't have my coffee because I was looking for one of the middle schools so I could buy band banquet tickets for this weekend. That is where the lady selling the tickets works. My daughter plays the clarinet and my son plays the saxophone in the high school band. My daughter doesn't want to go to the banquet, I bought her a ticket anyway. My son told me he wants to go. I was only going to buy three tickets, but I thought it would be better to have one for her just in case she changes her mind. I told my husband about me buying her the ticket and he said since I bought it she needs to go. The tickets are $30 a person and he said he didn't want to waste $30. There will be catered food, slide show, and a dance. I think she will have a good time, she just doesn't know it yet!

Man's Best Friend

I would like to introduce you to my husband and his best friend Kane.

RISE ABOVE THE HATE

Rise Above The Hate is my daughters heavy metal band. They played at Kellerfest this weekend. She was awesome!!! When they were done playing she had some fans that wanted to meet her. She had her picture taken by one and another asked if she had a cd that she could buy, she doesn't have a cd, but she would love to record one! Here are some pictures I took with my phone, I have better pictures on my Nikon but I haven't downloaded them yet. When I get those pictures downloaded I may make another post.

The Blood-Suckers Got Me!

And I don't mean vampires! I'm talkn' about mosquitoes! I have spotted two in the house, well it could be the same one, so I have seen a mosquito twice.
I woke up with bites on my leg, I guess I got attacked when I kicked my leg out of the covers to cool off. I was itching like crazy and I spotted the can of Dermoplast, it say's itch relieving on it so I sprayed it on my bites. It worked! I'm not itching now.

My husband bought the can when he fell down at work and scraped his arm really bad. He said he woke up the next morning with Kane licking his arm, so I don't know if it was the Dermoplast or Kane, but his arm is all better. :)

Griddle Pan of Awesomeness

I bought a griddle pan from QVC, I have never had a giddle pan before.

I really like it, I made grilled cheese sandwiches with it.

I made grilled cheese sandwiches with pepperonis and served pizza sauce for dipping.

I used a little to much butter, but that's ok, I spread it on the other sandwiches I made.

My First Post

This is my first post on my very first blog.

I don't know what to blog about today so I will just tell y'all about me.

I am married to a trucker, he is local so I get to have him home every night.

I work in the office of the truckn' company, my family owns the company.

Some people have said to me oh you work with family it must be fun, I tell them no, not all the time.

I have two kids , boy 17, girl 15.

I ride a motorcycle, a 883 Harley Iron.
